How it all began...

The band Faceless was formed in 1995 by Brian and Kristine McKenna. The two began writing and composing songs blending Brian's musical talent and writing abilities with Kristine's voice. Together they created a sound that is uniquely their own. During the band's first few years, Faceless performed frequently at coffee houses and similar venues around Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. During this time, the band was also busy recoring their songs and creating several demos. In 2002, Faceless debuted their first full-length CD called “I Usually Keep That to Myself”. The CD featured a mixture of songs that range from acoustic rock to pop songs with a variety of instrumentation. For the next few years, Faceless performed in support of their new album as a five-piece band throughout the Midwest and Chicagoland area. The band was also featured on local radio stations with interviews and live performances. In the summer of 2005, Faceless released their second CD called “Eyes of Blue Sky”. This CD featured songs with a wide range of musical styles as the band's sound continued to evolve. Most of the songs featured on the second CD "Eyes of Blue Sky" are slightly heavier and more guitar driven. At times, this heavier sound can be heard during the band's live performances. The band and its sound continue to evolve with the addition of new material and new members. Recent additions to the band include David Brown on bass guitar and backing vocals and Steven Tabor on drums and percussion. The Band is currently recording a follow up CD to "Eyes of Blue Sky". Once the new CD is released, the band will be adding several dates to the schedule. You can check out the band's music on our website. Click on "MUSIC" to preview the songs from both CD's. We hope you enjoy our music and we hope to see you at some of our upcoming performances!
