HOW IT ALL BEGAN

The band Faceless began when Brian and Kristine McKenna started playing music together in 1995. The blending of Brian’s musical talent and writing abilities with Kristine’s voice created a sound that is uniquely their own. During the first few years, Faceless performed frequently at coffee houses and similar type venues. During this time period, the band also recorded several demos.

In 2002, Faceless debuted their first full-length CD called “I Usually Keep That to Myself”. The CD features a mixture of songs that range from acoustic rock to pop with a variety of instrumentation. For the next few years, Faceless performed in support of their new album as a five-piece band throughout the Midwest and Chicagoland area. The band was also featured on local radio stations with interviews and live performances.

In the summer of 2005, Faceless released their second CD called “Eyes of Blue Sky”. This CD features songs with a wide range of musical styles as the band's sound continued to evolve. The musical styles featured on the second CD "Eyes of Blue Sky" are slightly heavier and more guitar driven than the previous CD "I Usually Keep That to Myself".

The band and its sound continue to evolve with the addition of new material and new members. Recent additions to the band include Steven Tabor on drums and percussion and David Brown on bass guitar and backing vocals. Faceless is currently recording a follow up CD to "Eyes of Blue Sky". Once the new CD is completed, the band will be adding several performance dates and a few acoustic performances. You can check out the band's music on our website.
